Here a three more excerpts from my interview with Dr. Julius Nyahongo that may be part of the documentary. In them he speaks of the difference between most researchers and Dr. Eivin Roskaft of NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology). Almost all of the Tanzanians working for the Tanzanian Wildlife Research Institute, TAWARI, who hold PhDs, have earned them from NTNU with the assistance of Dr. Roskaft. Most other foreign researchers have done little to help TAWARI in their capacity building efforts. Not sure if part of all this will be in the final version of the documentary. But they are very interesting.
